Integrative Statement

Biography:
M. Ann Easterbrooks, Ph.D., is Professor in the Eliot-Pearson Department of Child Study and Human Development at Tufts University. Her work spans both “basic” and “applied” research, using Relational Developmental Systems approaches to investigate children’s development in their family and community contexts. She is particularly interested in the conditions that foster resilience in the context of adversity (e.g., child maltreatment, homelessness, relational trauma). Dr. Easterbrooks is Principal Investigator at the Tufts Interdisciplinary Evaluation Research (TIER) center where work focuses on evaluation of prevention and intervention programs, including two-generation programs meant to support parenting and healthy child development. She served on and chaired the SRCD Publications committee (2007-2013). Dr. Easterbrooks received her doctoral degree in Developmental Psychology from the University of Michigan.
