Integrative Statement

Biography:
I study language development. In particular, I study the influence of socioeconomic status and dual language exposure on language development. Right now I am conducting a longitudinal study of Spanish-English bilingual children. My background also includes job searches while place bound for family reasons, positions with heavy teaching loads, and having small children--sometimes all at the same time.
