Recently, Dr. Poteat has focused on specific practices and experiences within Gay-Straight Alliances (GSAs) that predict positive health outcomes among members. Dr. Poteat is a current Associate Editor for the Journal of Research on Adolescence and previously served as Associate Editor for The Counseling Psychologist.
