Biography:
Dr. Margaret Burchinal, is a Senior Scientist at the Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Education at the University of California, Irvine.

"As an applied statistician, I have studied the extent to early care and education can improve children's developmental trajectories and address social inequities. As a statistician, I focus on longitudinal methodologies and designing studies to address research questions as precisely as possible."
