The Impact of Childhood Trauma: What We Don’t Know

Abstract

Childhood trauma is a key modifiable risk factor for psychopathology. Despite significant scientific advances, unhelpful assumptions about measurement, design, and analytical strategies in the area may now be hindering progress and translational applications. The talk will highlight these assumptions and discuss novel research directions.
