Bullying victimization (BV) is a prevalent problem in the US and other countries. BV is associated with numerous negative outcomes including mental and physical health issues, poor academic functioning and emerging behavioral problems. This group of talks examines BV from a variety of perspectives and within a variety of cultures. We learn about parental, teacher and friendship support as mitigators of negative outcomes for children who are victimized and begin to understand the interplay of victimization and rejection sensitivity across time.Iin the last talk, the outcomes for perpetrators of bullying are examined. Together, these studies advance our understanding of developmental processes and outcomes for victims and perpetrators of bullying victimization.
