This session brings together a group of scholars who examine children's and adolescents' use of technology in formal and informal settings in ways that can improve cognitive and educational outcomes. Highlights include studies on exergames, robotics, culturally responsive media, individual and family influences, and production practices that can enhance interest, engagement, and learning.
