Abstract

Pregnant women and young children represent populations amongst those most sensitive to environmental shifts introduced by the COVID-19 pandemic. There has been swift response in the research community and by policy makers to understand the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on pregnant women, infants, young children and their caregivers. This session features studies of how COVID has impacted the wellbeing of caregivers and their children during pregnancy and early childhood in a variety of cultural contexts. Risk and resilience factors are considered.
