Communication Outcomes for Differently-abled Individuals: Factors associated with Language Development and Accessibility

Abstract
Language can play an outsized role in the developmental competency of differently-abled individuals. This flash talk session sheds light on a number of critical considerations in the emergence of vocalization and language skills in children with a variety of conditions that affect developmental processes, including children with specific language disorders, specific medical disorders, or general developmental disabilities.
