The impact of COVID on child development and learning loss

Abstract
Young children were the most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic globally. It is well established that a child's surroundings play a vital role in the learning and development of children. The pandemic limited children's access to essential services that promote learning, development, and well-being and led to learning losses and affected children's well-being. Papers in this session will distinguish learning losses from schooling loss and consider the impact of the pandemic on child wellbeing.
