Young people and children had to adapt rapidly to the immense changes and challenges brought on by the pandemic. The ability to socialize was minimized and restricted to a digital modality to a great extent. These changes affected mental health, including depression, trauma, and anxiety. However, children also displayed immense resilience. This session explores how the pandemic affected young people. It also considers risk and protective factors for well-being during the pandemic.
