Abstract
The talks in this session cover a range of issues related to negative aspects of parenting in relation to child development. Specific aspects of negative parenting include negative talk, lying, and other adverse parenting practices. Child outcomes examined in relation to negative parenting include children's negative affect, aggression, attachment to parents and peers, and sleep.
