Session Type: Flash Talk Session
Object exploration, tool use, and independent locomotion provide children with novel opportunities to perceive object and the space around them from different points of view. These experiences inform their understanding and processing of space and form. In this flash talk session, three presentations will report findings on how experiences with object exploration, tool use, or locomotion inform and alter children's processing, exploration, and mental representation of space.
