SRCD Asian Caucus Fundraising Event

Session Type: Conversation Roundtable

Abstract

Organizers: Yan Li (DePaul University) and the AC Fundraising Committee

The Asian Caucus Fundraising Committee will host an event to raise funds to support professional development and promote scholarship, collaboration, and DEI activities among Asian Caucus members. The committee will solicit donations before the conference and give out gift items (e.g., tote bags, mugs, metal water bottles) to donors as appreciations for their contribution during this event. Some of the gift items are featured with cartoon artwork advocating strength and solidarity by cartoonist Martin Lee (The Other Ones By Lee). Donations are also accepted at the event with available gift items. Asian Caucus will hold a reception during the fundraising event from 4:15-5:00pm.
