This research focuses on how emotional perception of S&T workers in the academic environment affect their research output. China's academic environment is constantly being optimized, but there are still many problems. The academic environment has had an important impact on S&T workers. The perception of the academic environment by scientists and technicians is a direct feedback of the academic environment, and it also affects their academic achievements and scientific research output. The data for this research was from the 480,99 valid questionnaires of the 4th National S&T Workers Condition Survey. First we uses the correlation between items to construct a five-dimensional indicator system, namely academic environmental (AE) satisfaction, AE convenience, AE system and policy evaluation, AE integrity and AE administrative intervention. Second, we uses EFA and SEM methods to determine the three main factors of S&T workers' academic environment perception, namely satisfaction perception, convenience perception and environmental quality perception. Third, the research combines the quantities of papers, patents, technical application results and scientific research projects to be scientific research output indicator of S&T workers. Finally, the regression model is calculated by using multiple linear regression methods, and the effects of satisfaction perception, convenience perception and environmental quality perception on scientific research output are explored. Based on the results of the regression coefficient, we can premierely determine which factors help science and technology workers improve research output and which factors are not. In the future, the academic environment can be optimized by improving the inferior factors.
