STS at the National Science Foundation: Funding Opportunities and Proposal Development

Abstract

This session would be hosted by the director of the National Science Foundation's programs in Science, Technology, and Society and Cultivating Cultures for Ethical STEM. The director will review funding opportunities for STS scholars, provide tips for proposal development, explain the peer review process, and discuss NSF's merit review criteria. This session would benefit the STS community by enhancing members' knowledge of funding opportunities and of best practices for successful grant writing.
