2022 Auditing Section Midyear Meeting

Due to new security protocols, upon your first visit to the 2022 Auditing Section submission site, please click on the link at the bottom right that reads "Click here if you have forgotten your password or username." This will allow you to set your password for the submission site (and confirm you are using the email address associated with your AAA account). 

 

If you know your AAA Username, please enter it in the top form field and press the "Reset My Password" button. This will email a password reset link to the email address you have on file with the AAA. Please your junk folder if you have not received an email from "DO_NOT_REPLY@allacademic.com" within 5 minutes.

 

Click on the Reset Password link included in the email and you will be able to set your password. We encourage you to use your AAA member password.

 

Log in using your AAA username and the new password on the next screen.

 

Call for Submissions

We welcome submissions of papers addressing auditing, attestation, and assurance topics, including all paradigms and theoretical foundations (e.g., sociology, psychology, economics) and all research methods (e.g., analytical, archival, experimental, qualitative). Authors will automatically be added to the pool of potential reviewers.


Submitted manuscripts should follow the style and submission guidelines of Auditing: A Journal of Practice & Theory, except the requirement to submit separate electronic files. The conference submission system only allows you to upload one file, which should contain the body of your paper and should not contain a cover page or file name with any author-related information.


The submission deadline is 11:59 pm EDT on August 25, 2021, and there is a non-refundable $50 submission fee. The submission process includes two steps:

  1. Pay the submission fee. To pay the fee, please CLICK HERE. Once you have paid the submission fee, locate the Payment Number in the upper left corner of the payment confirmation you receive.
  2. Submit your paper. When you have completed step one (above), you may submit your paper through the electronic submission system. Please CLICK HERE to access the submission system, and login using your AAA member ID and password. During the submission process, you will need to provide a Submission Fee Acknowledgement Code. Please enter the Payment Number you obtained in the previous step here. We also ask that you volunteer as a reviewer, discussant, and/or moderator while you are already logged in to the submission system.
