We are pleased to announce that the  2020 Midyear Meeting of the Financial Accounting and Reporting Section (FARS) will be held in Nashville, Tennessee at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel on January 23-25, 2020. We welcome submissions of high-quality academic papers that will allow us to compile a top-notch research program.

We are pleased to announce the inaugural call for submission of papers to be discussed in research roundtables. All are welcome to submit; however, we encourage assistant (untenured) faculty and/or PhD students to submit papers that are in development stage which would benefit from a more intimate discussion of the manuscript. These submissions will allow authors of early stage projects to benefit from participating in this research focused conference.

The deadline for submission has been extended until Thursday, September 5, 2019. Submission of papers is a two-step process:

A blind review process will be used to select research papers to be presented at the Concurrent Research Sessions during the conference.
