The Gloves Come On: A Crime Scene Investigation Assignment

Abstract: Teams of students were given the opportunity to investigate a crime scene for 30 minutes to search for possible evidence. After completing the assignment and writing up their findings, the students completed a survey (7-point Likert-type scale) regarding the assignment. The students felt they learned more about looking for evidence and that they had a better understanding about handling evidence. Additionally, the students enjoyed the assignment and would like more assignments similar to this one.
