Applications for SEC's Accounting Quality (Robocop) Model

Abstract

The three SEC Accounting Quality (Robocop) Model tests in this research paper were just simple correlations with no causality implied from these correlation tests. However, these tests do provide empirical evidence to support various researchers' conclusions discussed in this paper. Also, these three applications provide some pathways for the SEC's development of Robocop models to screen its 9,000 annual filings in various industries.
