Learning Accounting Using Socrative

Abstract

The objective of this technique is to increase participation and engagement in the introductory accounting classroom. Using Socrative, an interactive online platform, students can do in-class exercises using their cell phones and get immediate feedback. There are games like Space Race in Socrative that allow students to do in-class exercises in teams and compete with each other. Professors can use Exit Ticket to get students' feedback conveniently at the end of each class about their comprehension of the course materials.
