Experiences with a Fraud Audit Service Team Volunteer Opportunity

Abstract

In the poster session, we will present our experiences with a service learning opportunity. This opportunity, called Fraud Audit Service Team (FAST) is based on a model presented by Riley, Melendy and Doran (2011). We will discuss the purposes of such a program and how we set it up. The types of organizations assisted and the benefits to students and faculty of participating in such a program will be covered. In addition, we will provide suggestions regarding implementing and maintaining such a program.
