Abstract

Necessity and opportunity came together to produce the idea of teaching auditing simultaneously to students at Babson College and St. Petersburg University, Russia. This paper discusses how the opportunity presented itself, the planning involved in developing the course and the results from 5 years of teaching the course. The paper concludes with recommendations for others who may be considering a similar opportunity.
