Many of the concepts, skills and practices taught in secondary education courses have the potential to be implemented and utilized by business professors at the university level. There are many classes that are designed and taught for potential secondary teachers in University Education Departments, and typically these courses are led by Professors who have themselves been trained as Secondary Teachers. University Professors in professional areas such as Accounting and Business more often than not have little to no training in actual Secondary Level, or adult Educational Pedagogy. This proposal will teach how many of the concepts delivered through Education courses at the University level can be altered to fit the needs of students receiving instruction with regard to Accounting and Business courses in the university level classroom. The presenter has adapted many of the concepts herself in her classroom and they have been quite effective. She will teach some of these at the session. I will need the internet and MS Word as well as access to a PC.
