Accounting Can Be Fun!

Abstract

Today’s students do not learn the same way as students twenty or even ten years ago. To address the variety of ways students learn while also demonstrating to them that the experience can be fun, I incorporate technology, interactive spreadsheets, current news topics and videos, educational games, and immediate reinforcement through daily exercises called GUDS (Greater Understanding DeviceS). Comments from my students validate the success of these techniques.
