Abstract

Have you ever attended a conference and felt overwhelmed? Too many good ideas and not enough time to implement them? Or have you tried to implement an idea after a conference, and wished you had some tips and tricks that would help? If so, this poster will highlight a valuable resource you can use for teaching and learning ideas 24/7. The Teaching and Learning Toolbox website and blog was established in 2015 by accounting educators Markus Ahrens and Cathy Scott. Markus and Cathy wanted a way to share proven technology resources that they use in their accounting courses as well as provide ongoing tips and tricks that can simplify incorporating technology in accounting education. From hardware, software, apps to pedagogy, the Teaching and Learning Toolbox was developed to become a valuable teaching and learning resource center for today’s accounting educator. This poster will highlight the various resources within the website and showcase the monthly blog, which features details about how Markus and Cathy seamlessly incorporate particular technology tools into their accounting courses.
