This exploratory study aimed to ascertain whether personality factors of undergraduate students majoring in accounting are related to their levels of moral disengagement. We utilized two surveys: one that measured their Big Five personality traits and another that obtained information using a 5-point Likert scale in order to measure eight dimensions of moral disengagement. The results of the surveys were correlated for the sample of students, and relationships between personality factors and levels of moral disengagement discussed.
