This workshop’s purpose is to provide educators with high-impact teaching tools available online to transform the delivery of accounting education. This session will particularly focus on sharing best-practices using strategies that leverage Google cloud services for effective learning, particularly during online instruction. Educators seeking innovative ways to engage their students both at the graduate and undergraduate levels will benefit from these tools presented to facilitate the enhancement, augmentation and transformation of accounting learning activities.
This workshop will demonstrate how to:
Unlock the power of Google Assignments and Google Classroom as an effective platform in accounting instruction that allows better collaboration with students.
Protect the academic integrity of assignments by leveraging access controls, audit trails, and individualized spreadsheet assignments.
Seize the ability to access student work on a real-time basis to convert feedback into summative conversations.
Review the originality of assignments with integrated tools.
Incentivize students to share How-To-Do videos on YouTube, allowing students to organize information into coherent structures, solidifying their own learning while helping peers.
Integrate grading rubrics and assignment originality verification.
Synchronize grades into other learning management systems.
