Description: Unique panel comprised of industry experts who graduated with accounting degrees in the last six years. These young professionals specialize in various areas of technology beyond the traditional audit/tax career paths. Having began their careers in Big Four firms, each panelist has carved a specialized career that focuses around technology – from audit data analytics to robotic process automation. During this panel session, you will learn about:
• How the panelists’ accounting programs helped shape their career paths
• What the panelists learned during their formal accounting education that made the most impact
• What the panelists wish their professors had known in order to help them better prepare for how the accounting industry is ever evolving with technological advances
