Abstract

International Financial Reporting Standards have been implemented in the EEC, Mexico, Canada and Australia. The SEC has directed FAF and FASB to harmonize US GAAP and i GAAP. The financial crisis in Greece and the EEC seems to have taken center stage and pushed the change to IFRS lower in priority.
