The Ernst & Young Academic Resource Center: An Overview of Resources for Faculty

Abstract

The Ernst & Young Academic Resource Center (EYARC) is focused on the development of free educational resources for faculty based on leading-edge issues impacting the accounting profession. In this session, Catherine Banks, EYARC Program Director, will cover the current EYARC resource offerings available that span topics that include professional judgment from both an accounting and auditing standpoint, financial reporting from both a US GAAP and IFRS standpoint, fair value/valuation and sustainability reporting. Catherine will also lead a discussion with two academic panelists and the audience about integration considerations around these topics and will also seek input on what additional resources might be desired by faculty. All faculty participants from non-profit educational institutions will be provided with access to the EYARC private portal.
