Session Submission Type: Individual Paper Panel
In this informal session, Jeffrey Wasserstrom, a specialist in modern Chinese studies who has been editing the JAS for the last 7 years, will offer some reflections on recent trends at the AAS flagship journal and in scholarly publishing on Asia more generally. He will also take questions about everything from those trends to more practical things, such as strategies for figuring out how to pick a journal when you have an article you are hoping to publish.
