Abstract

Dr. Sriprapha Petcharamesree is currently a full time lecturer at the Institute of Human Rights and Peace Studies, Mahidol University, Thailand where she chairs the Ph.D. Program in Human Rights and Peace Studies. She was the first Thai commissioner of the ASEAN Inter-governmental Commission on Human Rights (2009 to 2012). She has been co-Chair of the Working Group for an ASEAN Human Rights Mechanism since 2013. She obtained her PhD in Political Science-Southeast Asian Studies from the University of Paris X-Nanterre.
