PREPARING PUBLIC HEALTH NURSES FOR 2020

Dear ACHNE Members,

Our 2011 Annual Institute will be a time of partnership as we come together to share our efforts from the past year. We invite you to present your work, insights, and research on diverse topics that address the following objectives:

Describe strategies to enhance teaching-learning in clinical, classroom and online environments.
Describe innovative teaching strategies to prepare students for culturally competent practice in local and global environments.
Discuss curricular initiatives designed to better prepare students for practice at undergraduate and graduate competency levels.
Examine the impact of health care reform on C/PHN education, research and practice.
Utilize nursing research for evidence-based C/PHN education and practice.

Abstracts of up to 250 words can be submitted as a paper (in a concurrent session), a poster or a symposium. Detailed instructions are posted on the ACHNE website (http://www.achne.org). Presenters must be members of ACHNE and registered for the Annual Institute at the time of presentation.
