Short Description

This presentation focuses on how learners process information visualization by exploring the relationship between fifty undergraduate learners’ performance and their viewing behaviors gained from eye tracking. Students’ attitudes toward learning by using graphics, along with quantitative and qualitative results will be discussed. The results will reveal a deeper understanding of how learners process visual information, and therefore, will assist instructional designers in creating more effective visuals.
