This presentation discusses the application of the flipped classroom model to the redesign of a large Introduction to Management course at a highly diverse, urban university. The presentation reports on a series of studies assessing the impact of a flipped classroom vs. a traditional lecture approach on student performance (grades) and student perception (surveys), and describes the detailed use of specific learning resources designed to support the flipped approach. Recommendations for flip-the-classroom curriculum redesign in large lecture courses will be summarized and discussed with participants.
