This proposal reports a Category 3 Research Methodology.
Most existing instruments to assess flow rely on retrospective reconstruction against past separate flow experiences and produce self-report data by statement based, rather than behavior based. The purpose of this study was (1) to review the availability of Flow Measurement in the Web Context and Virtual-course Flow Measure (VFM) which can be applied to assess learning flow in online learning, and (2) to describe and synthesize one existing flow assessment which is behavior based, but not self-report survey based.
