Short Description

This concurrent session is for designers and researchers interested in intersections of neurotechnologies, health equity for persons with neurodevelopmental disabilities, and universal design for learning within or about neurotechnologies. It encourages audiences to grapple with theoretical, commercial, and social issues about neurotechnologies and neurodevelopmental disabilities. Through addressing autism in neurotechnology marketing and design, we will explore neurodiversity as a culture, identity, and movement, inspiring neurodiversity design research strategies informed by persons of diverse neurological developments.
