As the result of urgent demand for digital citizens and computer-related professionals, there is a mandatory request for teaching Computer Science (CS) at the elementary level across the US. However, multiple challenges were reported by both scholars and teachers, for example, CS is often misunderstood with computer literacy, CS is partial represented as programming by teachers. A multiple-case study will be conducted to investigate how in-service elementary teachers conceptualize and practice teaching CS
