Thu, Nov 5, 4:30 to 5:45pm EST (4:30 to 5:45pm EST), Virtual AECT, River18

Short Description

This roundtable session discusses the intersection of interability communication theory and emerging technologies used to produce instructional resources—presentation slides, handouts, and assignments—for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) classes, including how to produce accessible text-to-speech–compatible mathematical content for students with visual disabilities using a text-based open-source standard called R Markdown.
