Short Description

Drawn on Bourdieu’s cultural capital, this study pioneered to explore how students use ICT and involve in eSports in daily life, and the influence of students’ backgrounds on their ICT use and eSports development. The findings indicated that students were extensively involved with different types of ICT usage and eSports. Though students were relatively deprived with cultural capital, their school bridged student inequalities by developing their capital through learning opportunities with ICT.
