Short Description

The presenters explain the four steps of scaffolding strategies and a related online training program to enhance peers’ teaching abilities in peer learning environments. Based on sociocultural theory, Vygotsky’s zone of proximal development, and concepts of scaffolding, four steps were developed to guide peer learning. Experts validated the scaffolding strategies and a related online training program. This presentation should be of interest to people who desire to design online or face-to-face peer learning.
