This proposal reports on a multi-year qualitative case study that sought to explore the embodied pedagogical encounters coaches and students had with data at a Golf Teaching and Research Center (GTRC) located at a large mid-Atlantic university. This focus on embodied data offers a complimentary account of data collection and usage in learning settings, and we argue that GTRC instructors embodied representations of data in-the-moment allows for student data to become humanized and accessible.
