Pulmonary rehabilitation programs lack instructional strategy, leading to unaddressed skill deficiencies that increase the likelihood of acute exacerbations of chronic obstructive lung disease that require immediate hospitalization. The purpose of this poster is to discuss and highlight strategic change in the patient learning environment expressed to be critical in improving skill retention and self-efficacy.
