A Scoping Review of the Emerging Research on Educational 360-Degree Videos in Virtual Reality

Short Description

We will present the findings of a structured review of research on educational 360° video in virtual reality (VR), based on the qualitative synthesis of 12 refereed articles screened and selected from 951 database records. The results show how 360° video was used in nine different content areas to promote immersive learning. Overall, the participants in these studies enjoyed learning with 360° VR video, but the results were mixed regarding the impact on learning.
