Short Description

School libraries are active agents in school culture, but has research adequately explored their role? This presentation will discuss trends in research on school libraries over the last decade. Publication data from the years 2010 to 2019 were systematically collected to investigate the contributions of current research to our knowledge of school libraries and their role in school culture. The presenters then used new AASL Standards to examine strengths and weaknesses in the research.
