Short Description

Faculty at cross-country universities join to establish an Ambulatory Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) debate in order to introduce and reinforce knowledge, interpretation, and application of clinic outcomes data for new medications for treating type 2 diabetes, which has dramatically impacted clinical guidelines. The debate was evaluated using a pre and posttest of student knowledge and familiarity with major concepts and a post-debate survey of their perceptions of the debate and impact on their knowledge.
