We described the AR Infrared Thermal imaging technology lab activities conducted in two high school thermodynamics classes and discussed the students’ learning experiences from the experiment. We found that most students improved their understanding of the phenomenon, but didn’t succeed in graph interpretations. Future implications include a) grouping the students based on learning behavior, b) assessing the enhancement of their graph reading skills, and c) improving the thermometers of the technology.
