Student Experiences Learning Psychomotor Skills in a Blended Doctor of Physical Therapy Program

Short Description

As a hands-on profession, physical therapy education has traditionally been delivered in a face-to-face environment. Lately, multiple entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) programs are attempting to deliver curriculum in a blended environment. However, teaching and learning psychomotor skills required for entry-level physical therapy practice is challenging. This research explored student perceptions of the barriers and facilitating factors when learning psychomotor skills virtually in blended DPT education.
