One of the questions students frequently ask faculty and professionals is what skills they require to become a good instructional designer or educational technologist. In students’ minds, this question boils down to the technology they have to master to become competitive in today's labor market. This presentation will share themes related to technology used on-the-job, and attitudes related to technology use, based on interviews with 29 ID/EdTech professionals across diverse sectors.
